But more than that we hope that you'll be encouraged to try our new cafe style blend of hospitable, contemporary Christianity that appeals to all ages. Free hot and cold refreshments are available as soon as you arrive on Sunday mornings, and you are welcome to help yourself at any time, even during the service which starts at 10am.

St. Stephen's Church
is a lively, informal, growing congregation at the heart of the local community in East Broadwater. Under new leadership, we have moved to a more outward looking seeker friendly style and are amazed at how God is abundantly blessing this transition. Our worship group leads us in a modern contemporary style and we offer prayer ministry at each service.
We value and are committed to being believers that are:

We have recently reviewed the way we use our building complex. With the emphasis on youth work, and to compliment the appointment of a youth pastor, we will use the excellent facility of the large hall as a dedicated youth centre. Also this gives us greater flexibility in the way the worship centre and other rooms can be used.
Young church
Our kids work is really great! We make sure that the children are given space to interact and learn about Jesus as well as having loads of fun at the same time.

Youth Church
Our Sunday youth enjoy a varied diet at youth church and are currently consuming Nooma videos to stimulate feedback and discussion on relevant life issues.

MID WEEK AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
* Core Group meets weekly, on Thursday evenings from 7.30 to 9pm, and is based around
the "Welcome, Worship, Word and Witness" principles of cell groups.
* Church Prayer meetings are held fortnightly on Wednesdays from 8 to 9pm.
* The Music Group meets fortnightly on Wednesday Evenings for practice from 7.30 to 9pm
* Line dance classes are held weekly on Monday afternoons from 2.30 to 4.30pm.
* Youth Club meets on Monday evenings from 7.30 to 8.45pm.
* Social events, for church members plus friends and family, are arranged every month.
* Our buildings are also let to some outside organisations.
