Sunday Services

Broadwater Parish Church

8 o'clock Communion - a time of quiet contemplation around the Lord's Table. Lasting about 45 minutes, the service follows the order of Common Worship.

9:45 Family Service- a welcome place for all members of the church family of whatever age. Children share in the service for the first fifteen minutes and can then choose to join with other children in their age group for teaching and activities. Parents of the very young can take their children to a creche in the South Transept. The Common Worship service includes traditional and modern songs led mainly by Asaph, who are also skilled in puppetry. Holy Communion is on the 2nd Sunday

11:30 Morning Prayer - using the Book of Common Prayer, this hour-long service offers a welcome to those in need of peace and quiet. A traditional service which is still relevant to life in our modern world. A new Allen organ provides the musical lead, played by an accomplished organist. We join around the communion table every 3rd Sunday.

7:00 Evening Service - meeting with the other churches in the Broadwater Parish team, a time of worship and teaching. During the winter months, this service sometimes takes place at St Stephen's, Queen Street or Broadwater CE School (the home of Hosanna). The 3rd Sunday is normally a communion service.
