PARISH ADMINISTRATOR

Broadwater Parish is a lively evangelical Anglican Parish with over 300 people meeting across our 2 sites and 4 congregations in beautiful West Sussex, north of Worthing. Broadwater has experienced much growth over the past few years and is in an exciting place to move into a fresh new season. This is a key role within the parish, reporting directly to the Rector.

Key responsibilities for this role include: The administration of our services, teams, database and communications across the parish. 

The successful applicant will be able to manage varied deadlines and demands whilst taking a proactive approach in planning and problem solving.

This is an opportunity for someone to develop their skills, working alongside an enthusiastic and supportive team.

The role is 20 hours per week, hours to be agreed with line manager. Due to the nature of the role some flexibility will be required.

Salary: £ 13,212 per annum depending on experience.

AUDIO VISUAL Intern

Temporary Role – 100 hours 

Introduction 

Broadwater Parish is a thriving Anglican Parish with 300+ people across two sites and four congregations. We have recently benefitted from a legacy gift that has enabled an update of Audio Visual (AV) equipment and are looking for an enthusiastic AV intern to join the team on a temporary basis.  

The Worship & AV team consists of around 50 volunteers serving at 10am family services at St Mary’s & St Stephen’s, the 11:45am traditional service at St Mary’s and the 6pm informal service at St Mary’s. We livestream the 10am and 6pm services at St Mary’s.  

Role Purpose 

The purpose of this role is to support the Worship & AV team by helping to prepare for Sunday Services and assisting with the livestreaming of the 10am/6pm at St Mary’s including uploading and editing the livestream videos. The role also involves maintaining existing AV equipment and working with the staff team to co-ordinate upcoming services and events.   

The role will be paid at the national living wage for those aged 23 and over and the national minimu wage for those aged under 23 https://www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-rates
